History

PJ Morris Wools was established in August 1962 by Philip Morris, who built the business as both a country buying and exporting operation. Over the years, it grew to become one of Australia’s largest wool exporters, supplying wool to markets across Western Europe, the Eastern Bloc, India, Asia (including Thailand, Korea and Japan), North America and South Africa.

In the early 1990s, Peter Morris joined the business, helping to re-establish PJ Morris Wools as Western Australia’s leading independent wool exporter and one of the country’s most respected wool trading companies.

Today, PJ Morris Wools continues to thrive as a major exporter, sourcing quality wool from all regions of Australia. The business is now guided by the next generation of wool professionals, who bring extensive product knowledge, a strong understanding of client needs, and the logistical expertise required to deliver the right wool, on time and to specification. Evonne and Nan work closely together to provide a personalised, first-class service to all clients, ensuring the PJ Morris legacy of integrity, quality and excellence continues into the future.
